Drew Redinger graduated high school here in Sheridan in 1989, then moved to Minnesota to learn the masonry trade. A few years later he returned to Sheridan with his wife Jenny and their first two children Swayne and Derek. Drew then used the experience from Minnesota to start his own masonry business doing small residential brick, block, and stone.
But after doing masonry for a few years he decided to build his own house. During the process of building this home, Drew realized his passion. From the communicating with suppliers, working with his team, scheduling subcontractors, and then handing the keys over to his first homebuyer, he found the process intriguing and rewarding.
With his newfound passion, he bought a sawmill and built his next home with rough sawn timbers and river stone masonry, sparking the name for StoneMill.
StoneMill was founded in 2001 and has been working hard for Sheridan and surrounding area since.
Through the years StoneMill has built several subdivisions in the Sheridan and Ranchester area, built custom homes around the county, and done a lot of professional concrete work.
Drew and Jenny’s children have been raised in the business and now play leadership roles as the company has grown.
